How can I contact my child while he/she is at camp?
Campers receive mail daily during each
session of resident camp, (Sundays, holidays, check-in &
check-out days excepted). Mail may be sent to:

Bins are available on check-in day for parents to drop off mail
and packages. Please specify on which date during the session
you would like each item delivered. Mail received after sessions
end and campers return home cannot be delivered. It doesn't hurt
to drop something in the mail before the session starts. This
will help ensure that your child will receive mail during
his/her time at camp.
Additionally, Camp Wright contracts with
Bunk1 to provide both ONE WAY email service and online photo
galleries for our resident camp families. This allows camper
families to leave messages, that will be printed out and
delivered to campers along with their other mail, as well as
view pictures posted from each session. Bunk1 is a third
party organization that is not affiliated with Camp Wright.
Fees for this service must be paid directly to Bunk1.
What can I send in a care package?
Care packages are delivered along with
mail each day. We strongly discourage food in care packages.
Small toys, games to share, and souvenir items (disposable
cameras, autograph albums, etc.) are great. Sealed With A Kiss
is a service that provides camp appropriate not edible care

How do I register with Bunk1?
Bunk
Notes are one way emails sent from parents to campers while camp
is in session. Please note that you must send Bunk Notes
the day before you would like them delivered to your camper.
We cannot guarantee that Bunk Notes will be distributed on the
last day of any session. Bunk Notes are only distributed to
overnight campers. Campers receive Bunk Notes (and all mail)
after lunch, during rest hour each day. Campers do not have the
ability to respond via email.
For the protection of our campers, a PRE-APPROVAL PASSCODE
is required to access this site. Passcodes are available
to parents during each session's check-in. Enter the
passcode in the "Pre-approval Code" field on the Bunk1
registration page, along with the rest of the registration
information to obtain a username and password. Once you have
registered with Bunk1 you can continue to use your account from
year to year. If you do not get a passcode from camp staff
on check-in day, please call our office for assistance.
How can I see what's going on during camp sessions?
Photos are posted
to the Bunk1 website daily. Our photographers do their best to
capture as many campers and activities as possible.
Unfortunately, we cannot photograph each camper every day.
On days when we are unable to get a good number of photos, we
will post a newsletter on Bunk1 to keep friends and family
informed of our activities.

How can my child contact home from camp?
Campers are encouraged to write letters
home from camp. We recommend that campers bring pre-addressed
postcards or stationary with them. Because of our rustic
setting, campers do not have access to telephones or computers.
In order to promote our camp community and the camp experience,
cell phones are strictly prohibited at Camp Wright.
What if my child becomes ill or gets homesick?
In the event of camper illness, an
essential forgotten item, or other urgent need, parents will be
contacted by the camp staff. Should a child become homesick
while at camp, our staff will closely monitor the child, work
with him/her to overcome the homesickness, and occasionally
contact parents for positive encouragement. We believe that, in
most cases, overcoming homesickness is an attainable goal. It is
important that parents be encouraging and positive should this
